So, you're heading to Kenya for an epic adventure? Get ready for landscapes that will stun, and wildlife encounters that will make your high school lessons come to life. But first... what on earth do you pack?

Don't worry - we are here to help, and make sure you're prepped, and looking safari-chic without breaking a sweat.

  • Khaki is King: Yes, those classic khaki pants (or shorts, or skirts!) aren't just for show. They're comfy, durable, and blend in with the bush. Think neutral colours: beige, olive green, light browns. It's all about those earthy tones.
  • Breathable Fabric (Tops and Shirts): Light, airy long-sleeved shirts are your BFFs. They protect you from the sun and mosquitoes! Cotton or linen blends are great. Pack a few t-shirts and vests for layering too.
  • The Safari Hat! Oh yes, you NEED the big hat. Not just any hat, but one with a wide brim. It's your personal shade provider, keeps your head cool, and makes you look like a star as well. The bigger, the better’
  • Comfy Kicks: You'll be doing some walking, even if it's just around the lodge or to the safari vehicle. Comfortable, closed toe shoes are a must - think light hiking boots or sturdy trainers. Maybe some sandals for chill time at the lodge.
  • The "I've Been to Kenya" Bracelet: You absolutely HAVE to purchase a Kenya bracelet (or ten!). The colourful, beaded bracelets make for the perfect souvenir, and also support local artisans.
  • Shady Sunglasses: The Kenyan sun in the savannah is bright! Protect  your eyes with a good pair of sunglasses.
  • Sunscreen, Sunscreen, Sunscreen! Did I mention the sun? High SPF, please! And don't forget lip balm with SPF too.
  • Binoculars – Your Game Drive Superpower: You can definitely function without them, but why would you want to? Unparalleled game experience

Final Pro Tip: Pack light-ish! You don't want to be lugging a giant suitcase through the bush.

Happy Packing and see you soon!
